The Fraser Valley Irish Dance Association is a non-profit association established in 2001, to support Irish dancers in the Fraser Valley, and to bring our love of Irish dance and culture into our local communities.

Our mandate is to provide traditional costumes for dancers, to promote the awareness and appreciation of Irish dance in the Fraser Valley, to foster goodwill and sportsmanship among our members, to provide financial assistance to members attending special dance-out events or travelling to Irish Dance competitions.

You do not have to be a dancer to join the FVIDA! Membership is open to anybody who has an interest in Irish dance and culture.

Our dancers perform over 40 shows during the year throughout the Fraser Valley and Vancouver.

They can often been seen at local community events, seniors' centres, pubs, and St. Patrick's Day celebrations kicking up their heels and impressing audiences with their talent in hardshoe, softshoe, and Irish set dancing.

Our dancers are available for private and public performances.

We can provide Irish dancers for corporate events, St. Patrick's Day celebrations, birthday parties, anniversaries, retirement parties, and they are wonderful entertainment at weddings!

Whatever you are celebrating, we can add to the festivities and entertain your guests.

If you are interested in booking a show, please fill out our form here: Book a Show, or email: irishdancing@shaw.ca for more details.
